Terms and Conditions

Terms of Service

Haynes Brothers Furniture is a Factory Authorized Retailer for the brands it sells to the public. In these terms, it is also referred to as “Haynes Comfort” or “HaynesComfort.com”.

Delivery Options

White glove delivery. White glove delivery is available on every item we sell and is handled by our own in-house team or by contracted delivery agents. It includes:

  • Pre-assembly of items before delivery, when applicable
  • A call ahead to schedule your delivery
  • Installation of your items inside your home, placed where you direct
  • Removal of all debris and boxes that come with the delivery

Additional services can be arranged if agreed to in advance, such as moving existing furniture to other rooms in your home, delivery to the 2nd story or higher, and/or haul-away of furniture you no longer want. Fees may apply.

You can also choose store pick-up or threshold delivery.

Preparing for Your Delivery

If you expect anything out of the ordinary on delivery day, please let us know before your delivery date. Examples include an unusual floor plan or obstacles such as narrow doorways or hallways, elevators or elevator scheduling requirements, security arrangements, pets, or anything else that might complicate the delivery. A little preparation goes a long way toward solving most of these challenges.

Estimated Shipping Times

The shipping times below are estimates, based on what a “typical” shipment looks like for each product. Items coming from overseas may be held at port for inspection, which can delay a shipment. This is uncommon, but it is outside our control. Estimated shipping times are not a guarantee that your items will arrive within that time frame; however, we will let you know if we expect an unusual delay.

  1. In-store / in-stock items: shipping time of 1 to 3 weeks
  2. Non-stock items: shipping time quoted at the time you order

Warranty Information

Every product we sell is guaranteed. We are an authorized dealer for each manufacturer we carry, and with most of them we have long-standing relationships. Because our suppliers value our business, they work with us on your behalf to resolve any warranty claim, should one ever come up.

Warranty coverage differs between brands and between products. For warranty details on a specific item you are considering, please contact the store directly.

Exchange & Cancellation Policy

Our goal is always for you to be a satisfied customer. Please note, however, that Haynes Comfort cannot accept returns of any custom-ordered or non-stock product. If your item arrives damaged or defective, we will work to get a replacement to you as quickly as possible.

Before You Order

Please double-check the sizes and colors you need before placing your order. If an exact color is essential, we strongly recommend ordering samples first.

Leather, wood, and the other materials used to make furniture are natural products, so some variation in grain pattern, texture, color consistency, and similar characteristics is expected. These variations are not considered defects, and items cannot be returned, exchanged, or replaced because of them.

Returns & Exchanges: 14-Day Window

We have a 14-day return and exchange policy. Returns and exchanges must be requested within 14 days of your delivery date, and all of the conditions below still apply.

If the item you are returning is in “like new” condition, you may exchange an in-stock item for any other in-stock item, or have a credit applied toward a custom or non-stock item.

  • Additional pickup and/or delivery fees may apply.
  • A restocking fee is not our standard policy, but we reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee on exchanges.
  • Shipping charges cannot be refunded or credited.

Cancellations

Any order that is canceled before it has been entered into production or shipping will be refunded, minus a 10% processing fee. Whether an order can be cancelled ultimately depends on whether we’re able to cancel it with the manufacturer without a charge to us.

Chargebacks: Zero Tolerance

If you try to reverse a credit card charge, whether before or after your order is delivered, your order will be canceled. We will contest the chargeback, and the person or company named in the billing information will be referred to a collection agency. In extreme cases, the person or company named in the billing information will be taken to small claims court in the area of that person’s or company’s billing address.

“Friendly fraud” is theft, and we will treat it as theft. After a chargeback, we will stop working with you on the existing order and will not take on any future orders from you.

Typographical Errors

If a product is listed with an incorrect price (or other important details) because of a typographical error, Haynes Comfort has the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for that product while it was listed incorrectly, even if the order has already been confirmed and your credit card has been charged. In these situations, we will issue an appropriate credit or refund of the funds you paid.

Sales Tax

Haynes Comfort operates in the state of Florida. For that state, we collect sales tax on purchases made through our store. We do not collect sales tax on orders from outside Florida, and we are not authorized to do so. If your order ships to a state other than Florida, please consult that state’s laws on these purchases, as determined by your delivery address.

Privacy Policy of Haynes Comfort

Haynes Comfort offers furniture shopping both in-store and online.

This section explains our policies for collecting, using, and disclosing the personal information we may obtain from our clients, website visitors, and in-store customers.

When you use our Services, you consent to us collecting and using information as this policy describes. The personal information we gather helps us provide and improve what we offer. Without your approval, your information will not be used by us or shared with anyone other than as described in this section.

Information Collection and Use

So that we can give you a better overall experience, we may need you to share some personally identifiable information with us—including, without limitation, your name, phone number, email address, and postal address. This information lets us reach or identify you and/or tell you about other services we offer.

We use “cookies” on our website to gather information and make our services better. It’s up to you whether to accept or refuse cookies, and you can choose to be told whenever one is sent to your computer. Please note that refusing our cookies may keep some portions of our services from working for you.

Service Providers

We may work with third-party companies and individuals for the following reasons:

  • To provide a specialized service that we do not offer
  • To add extra help alongside our full-time team during peak periods, so we can serve you faster or make shopping better
  • To keep you informed about new, revised, or ongoing information regarding the services we offer

Please be aware that these third parties can access your Personal Information, because they need it to complete the work we assign them. Our policy requires them to keep your information private and to use it solely for the work we have contracted them to do.

Security

We value the trust you place in us when you share your personal information, so we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect it. Keep in mind, though, that no way of sending data over the internet and no way of storing it electronically is 100% secure and reliable. Even though we follow best practices, absolute security is something we cannot guarantee.

Links to Other Sites

You may find links to outside websites on our Service, and clicking one will send you to that third party’s site. Because we don’t run those sites, we strongly recommend reading their privacy policies. We neither control nor accept responsibility for what appears on any third-party site or service you voluntarily choose to use, or for its privacy policies or practices.

Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not aimed at anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly gather personally identifiable information from children younger than 13. Should we learn that a child under 13 has given us personal information, we immediately delete it from our servers. Parents and guardians: if you know your child has shared personal information with us, please get in touch so we can take the necessary steps.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Because our Privacy Policy may be updated periodically, we suggest checking this page from time to time. Whenever it changes, we will let you know by posting the updated Privacy Policy here. Changes take effect immediately once they are posted on this page.

FAQ on Furniture Care

These FAQs offer essential tips for maintaining and caring for various types of furniture, ensuring that your pieces remain in excellent condition for years to come.

How should I clean my furniture?

To maintain the beauty of your furniture, dust it regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a cleaner appropriate for the material—wood, leather, or fabric. Always follow the manufacturer’s care instructions and test any cleaning product in an inconspicuous area first.

How can I protect my furniture from stains?

Protect your furniture by using coasters, placemats, and protective covers where applicable. For upholstered pieces, consider using a fabric protector. Address spills and stains immediately by blotting with a clean cloth—never rub the area, as this can spread the stain.

How do I prevent wood furniture from scratching?

Place felt pads under objects that could scratch the surface and avoid placing furniture in direct sunlight to prevent fading and warping. Regularly polish wood furniture with a suitable polish to maintain its luster and provide a protective layer.

What should I do if my leather furniture gets damaged?

For minor scratches, use a leather conditioner to restore the surface. For more significant damage, consult a professional upholsterer or leather repair specialist. Regularly condition leather furniture to keep it supple and prevent cracking.
